For Art Biesenthal 2022, the artist team AikenCura developed a biofeedback experience in an inflatable space.
The installation aims to create a reactive architecture that records the recipient's heart rate, calculates the average and finally outputs it as feedback. Heart rate can generally be affected by touch or tactile input. The thesis is that heart rates converge in a feedback loop. The architecture synchronizes the people in it.
In close cooperation with the artist team around Paul Morat & Aaron Schwertfeger, a topographic pedestal structure is conceived, which on the one hand contributes to the visual and spatial experience, and on the other hand forms the structural basis for the seismic feedback to the recipient of the transformed heart rate.
The project "Nur wer mit ihnen vom Mohn aß" [Only those who ate from the poppy with them] was awarded the prize "Art Director's Club Germany - Young Talent Award 2023 (Silver, Bronze).

Für die Art Biesenthal 2022 entwickelt das Künstlerteam AikenCura eine Biofeedback-Erfahrung in einem aufblasbaren Raum.
Die Installation zielt darauf ab, eine reaktive Architektur zu schaffen, die die Herzfrequenz des Rezipienten aufzeichnet, den Durchschnitt berechnet und diesen schließlich als Feedback ausgibt. Die Herzfrequenz kann generell durch Berührung oder taktilen Input beeinflusst werden. Die These ist, dass sich die Herzfrequenzen in einer Feedbackschleife annähern. Die Architektur synchronisiert die Menschen darin.
In enger Kooperation mit dem Künstler-Team rund um Paul Morat & Aaron Schwerdtfeger wird eine topografische Podest-Struktur konzipiert, welche zum einen zur visuellen und räumlichen Erfahrung beiträgt, zum anderen die strukturelle Grundlage für die seismische Rückkopplung an die Rezipientenschaft der transformierten Herzfrequenz bildet.
Das Projekt "Nur wer mit ihnen vom Mohn aß" wurde mit dem Preis "Art Director‘s Club Germany - Young Talent Award 2023 (Silver, Bronze) ausgezeichnet.
